MAIDEN ANNUAL INSPECTION OF SAINIK SCHOOL KALIKIRI

Captain (IN) G Rambabu, Inspecting Officer Sainik Schools Society arrived on maiden Annual Inspection of Sainik School Kalikiri on 24 Oct 2016. On his arrival, he was welcomed by the Offg Principal Wg Cdr VS Dangwal.  Elegant Guard of Honour was accorded to him by a platoon of fifty cadets led by parade commander Cadet Ramcharan Naidu. The well coordinated and synchronised Guard of Honour was lauded by the Inspecting Officer.

Later he graced the special morning assembly held in his honour. The Offg Principal in his welcome address said that the school offers a vast array of opportunities to channelize the energies of cadets for constructive purpose. The Inspecting Officer appreciated the cadets for their effective presentation skills and gave away the merit certificates to the winners of Inter House Competition. Offg Prinicpal Wg Cdr VS Dangwal presented the school memento to Captain (IN) G Rambabu as a token of remembrance. In his address, Captain G Rambabu urged the cadets to adhere to the tenets of self discipline and to utilise the state of the art infrastructure of the school. He emphasised the cadets to be more attentive during various activities conducted in the school and that they should be focussed in their mission of joining NDA.

He planted a sapling in keeping with the ‘Go Green’, initiative of the school towards a greener and eco friendly campus adding fragrance to the lush green ambiance of the school. During his interaction with the staff he urged them to instil among the young lads the desire to serve the nation. He inspected various infrastructural facilities of the school like the smart classrooms, Labs, Auditorium, Indoor Stadium, Cadets’ dormitories, School Run Canteen, Dispensary and Playfields. He also appreciated the commitment, sense of purpose and quality of work displayed by all staff of the school in enhancing the quality of life and to bring in a paradigm shift in providing much needed facelift to Sainik School Kalikiri. 

On his arrival at the school, he was given a warm reception by, staff and cadets. Later he was given the Guard of Honour by the cadets of Sainik School Kalikiri. There was a special assembly in the morning in his honour. The inspecting officer In his address, he motivated the students to take up the ‘Profession of Arms’ as their career to serve the nation. He was accompanied by his wife, Asha Krishnan, during the visit.
