INTER HOUSE PAINTING COMPETITION

“Drawing is the honesty of the art.There is no possibility of cheating. It is either good or bad.”

An Inter-House Drawing and Painting Competition was organized on 13th September, 2016 at school Academic Block. The hidden talents of cadets were reflected in their drawing. Our cadets enthusiastically participated in the competition and proved that they not only excel in academics, but also shine in exhibiting their skills by their creative presentation. They show cased their talent using different modus operandi of painting and came up with amazing artwork in drawing.

Wg Cdr VS Dangwal Offg Principal was present on occasion and distributed meritorious certificates and medals to the winners. He appreciated the efforts put in by the cadets and said painting allows cadets to express their creativity and have fun.

Developing a skill like painting provides the stimulus; cadets need to be successful in all aspects of life and fosters creativity. He also said cadets who paint learn to think with an open mind, to look at situations creatively and learn to express themselves more deeply through their art and their words.

The competition was very fruitful as it enabled the cadets to prove their infinite artistic ability. The cadets were seen deeply engrossed in their painting. Their mission was to bring laurels to their respective houses. The art work of the cadets was judged on Proportionate Design, Appropriateness of colours used, Perspective, Overall impression of the art work. It was a difficult task for the judges to select the elite paintings from each class. From Class VI, the first position was won by Cdt Abhay Kumar from Godavari House, 2nd was bagged by Cdt P Narasimha Prasad ofGodavari House and 3rd position was bagged by Cdt D Likith Reddy of Godavari House. From Class VII the first position was bagged by Cdt Arun Malali of Godavari House, 2nd by Cdt M Johnson of Penna House and 3rd by Cdt M SaiKrishna Chandra of Godavari House. From Class VIII the first position was won by Cdt R Abhiram of Krishna House, 2nd by Cdt A Tanish Reddy of Krishna House and 3rd by Cdt Paul Srikar of Godavari House.
