Cadets Excel in Competitions

The cadets of Sainik School Kalikiri proved their mettle by excelling in various external competitions conducted by the State Govt. and various organizations and made the institution proud with their outstanding accomplishments lauded the Principal of the school Capt (IN) Vikrant Kishore on Friday in a felicitation programme organized to honour the winners. He further appreciated cadet Aman Kumar of Class 9 who won the first prize in painting category in 'Kala Utsav-2019' which was jointly organized by Andhra Pradesh School Education and Samagra Shiksha.  He also praised Cdt Kiran Kumar of the same class who won the first prize in a national-level art competition conducted by Rangostav Celebrations. Along with these, he admired the efforts of Cdts Subhash and Rajesh Naik who brought laurels to the school by winning the first prize in an inter-school mathematics quiz competition.   The Principal also acclaimed the efforts of the school teaches Mr. Mallikarjun Reddy, Mr. Sandeepan Santra, Mrs. Rohini and the Art Master Mr. Sree Ramulu for supporting and encouraging the winners. “The cadets are trained not only for academic excellence but also for artistic brilliance”, said the Principal before administering the Swachhta Shapath Pledge, as part of Swachhta Pakhwada (cleanliness fortnight), to the staff and cadets, and urged them to have pure mind, thoughts, actions, speech, body and devote some time to keep the surroundings clean and green.
